Aquilla, Team Captain/Office Manager
Meet Aquilla Hayes, the driving force behind our practice's seamless operations. Since relocating to the Bay Area in 2011, Aquilla's journey began as an assistant, swiftly rising to the role of Director of Operations for both our General and Specialty departments. With over 15 years of dental expertise, she ensures our patients receive top-tier care while guiding our team to peak performance.
Aquilla spearheads the implementation of cutting-edge systems, ensuring our practice operates with maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Her passion for elevating the patient experience is matched only by her dedication to fostering a dynamic and cohesive team environment.
Aquilla's leadership extends beyond the office walls, where she cherishes spending spare time with her family—her high school sweetheart husband and grade school-aged son. When not immersed in dental excellence, you'll find her engrossed in a good book, unwinding and rejuvenating for the challenges ahead.

Susana, Front Desk Hygiene Coordinator
Susana grew up in San Leandro and has been working in the world of dental care for some time now—a year in general dentistry and three years in oral surgery. Today, you’ll find her helping patients by planning their treatments while building a strong relationship with everyone who walks through our doors.
At home, Susana is part of a loud, fun, and loving family. Other than spending time with her parents and siblings, she also likes binge-watching shows, shopping, going on hikes, cooking, and trying new restaurants whenever she has the chance. She’s also quite a comedian, as she always has a good joke to tell!
Anita, Treatment Coordinator/Team Lead
Originating from Moraga, Anita has been in the dental field for well over three decades. She studied at the Fashion Institute for Design & Merchandising before moving on to get her certification as a dental technician. She then worked in general dentistry and later in oral surgery as a management team lead and treatment coordinator. Today, she loves providing quality care with state-of-the-art techniques for our patients while working alongside amazing providers and staff.
Away from the office, Anita is married with three wonderful stepchildren and grandchildren. She enjoys hosting large family Sunday dinners, cooking for her loved ones, and being out on the water and the great outdoors with her husband. They also love seeing live music together. Anita is proud of her Armenian heritage, and at one point she spoke five different languages!
Suzanne, Registered Dental Hygienist
With two decades of experience, Suzanne loves being part of the world of dentistry and having the chance to help others create their dream smiles. Originating from Santa Clarita, CA, she received her certification through the Pasadena City College Dental Hygiene Program. She also worked as a dental assistant while she was in hygiene school.
At home, Suzanne lives with her high school sweetheart husband, and they have two beautiful daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys going on hikes, being outdoors, traveling, reading, and working out. She also loves watching her daughters play soccer on the weekends and spending time with her family and friends.
Grace, Lead Clinical Coordinator/Registered Dental Assistant
Gracie is a dedicated Lead Clinical Coordinator and Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with 25 years of experience in the dental field. Known for her leadership, clinical expertise, and compassionate approach, she takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for. What she loves most about her work is the people — both the team she collaborates with and the patients she has had the privilege of serving throughout her career.
Originally from the Philippines, Gracie has been happily married for 33 years and is a proud mother to her musically inclined son, Zachary, who is truly the light of her life. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys singing karaoke, trying new restaurants with friends, and spending quality time with her family. After 25 years in the field, she remains grateful for every moment and continues to love what she does.
Shareena, Registered Dental Assistant/Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Assistant
With close to three decades of experience in the world of dentistry, Shareena loves working alongside an incredible and talented team that makes every day at the dental office enjoyable. She also likes meeting all of our patients and ensuring they have a pleasant experience while getting their pearly whites treated. She studied at the College of Alameda to earn her license as a Registered Dental Assistant as well as her certifications in Advanced Cardio Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Oral and Maxillofacial surgical assisting.
Whenever you don’t find her at the office, Shareena spends much of her time with her friends, family, and her daughter. Her hobbies involve shopping, cooking and trying out new cuisines, and traveling to new places when she gets the opportunity to. One thing you might notice is that she loves to laugh while making the most of every day.
Ivette, Registered Dental Assistant
Ivette is a Registered Dental Assistant with 20 years of experience, and she has been a valued member of the practice for the past year and a half. She’s especially passionate about helping children feel calm and confident during their visits—turning nervous moments into proud, smiling victories is her favorite part of the job. Ivette began her career through hands-on training, later earning her RDA certification through the Dental Board of California, along with certificates in dental X-rays, coronal polishing, and sealants.
Originally from Lima, Peru, Ivette is currently completing her associate degree in arts with plans to pursue either dental hygiene or nursing. Outside the office, she dedicates much of her time to rescuing and caring for community cats, a personal mission she’s carried out for eight years through TNR work, fostering, and helping abandoned cats find loving homes. Her compassion, dedication, and warm personality shine through in everything she does—both in dentistry and beyond.
